The Bottom Line For Baby Review

So I received this book as an Advanced Reader copy from Netgalley and I cannot stress it enough that this book is SO FLIPPING IMPORTANT. Like, I'm not exaggerating when I say that I will be purchasing The Bottom Line for Baby for all of my soon-to-be-mom friends. In a world where moms are constantly being judged and told to do this or that for their baby, this book is a must.

Tina Payne Bryson lays it out the way all parenting books should be: What you're told, the science, and then the bottom line. She throws in some personal stories that really tie it all together. The book is written in a super clear format that allows you to flip through alphabetically on topics ranging from "Pumping and Dumping" to Sign Language, and more. The other great thing? It's on topics that you'll deal with in the first year of being a new parent. When there's a topic that you want to learn more on or dive a little deeper, flip to the back of the book to the bibliography for her sources. This book gets you through all of the things you're wondering without overloading you on information you'll forget the second you see that precious face coming into the world.
