You'd Be Mine Review

You'd Be MineLove swoon-worthy love stories? Country music? Okay. Go get yourself a copy of You'd Be Mine now. No. Don't even read the rest of this. Just go read it now.

The heir to Country Music Legacy, Annie Mathers wants nothing to do with the lifestyle her late-parents lived. She's comfortable with her band, consisting of her cousin and childhood best friend, but wants her music to be heard. She's far more talented than her parents were, which is why labels want her. Enter Clay Coolidge, heart-throb country music star with a hidden drinking problem and emotional issues. His label give shim an ultimatum: Get Annie to go on tour with him or get his tour cancelled. After showing up at Annie's home, Annie and Clay immediately are drawn to each other. The tour starts and they find themselves in the rumor mill of high-profile relationships. With his past, Clay believes he'll just drag Annie down. Annie wants to save him from himself. Can they help each other and still be successful?

I was given an Advanced Reader Copy of this book at Yall Fest 2018 and it was the best ARC I received that festival, by far. This book had me laughing, crying, swooning, and falling completely in love with the characters. Beautifully written, amazing storyline, and definitely one for the books. I cannot praise You’d Be Mine enough. Erin Hahn is definitely an author to keep an eye on!

"But If I close my eyes, And wish it all away,
Pretend I'm someone else, Pretend I'm here to stay,
Gave us half a chance, Let my stupid heart decide,
There's no doubt in my mind, You'd be mine"
